Abstrakt

The paper deals with numerical integration of weakly singular integrals arising in 2D BEM. In all, three fundamental solutions are addressed: steady state conduction in moving bodies, axisymmetric potential and axisymmetric elasticity. It is shown how these fundamental solutions can be rearranged to a form suitable for logarithmically weighted Gaussian integration. An algorithm of evaluating weakly singular integrals for arbitrary location of the singular point is described.
