Using sliding mode technique for decoupling linear multivariable systems

The sliding mode control (SMC) for decoupling of a general class of linear multivariable systems is considered. The paper details the design of suitable feedback switch (relay) which realizes the decoupling under sliding mode conditions. The algorithm solving this problem is proposed and illustrated by a simple numerical example. The result of analysis and simulation of the system proposed with designed method also are described.
