Abstrakt

A unified state-space approach to LQG and GPC control problems based on state-space representation of ARMAX models and explicit delay performance indices is presented. The solution consists of two parts. The first one consists in finding N free predictions of the output in the input-output approach or, equivalently, the filtered state variable in the state-space approach. The second part is connected either with inverting a N_u × N_u matrix or with calculating the vector k_c from a combination of Lyapunov and Riccati equations.
