Abstrakt

This article presents results of an interdisciplinary literature analysis in the field of the smart city environmental management information system. A survey is made of main environmental issues related to urban development processes. The required range of the system information and functionality is verified. It is also checked to what extent state-of-the-art ICT tools can assist in environmental management in smart cities. The analysis takes account of the latest pillars of development, such as the knowledge transfer support and development and implementation of innovations in the first place.
