Abstrakt

An abstract stochastic population process with discrete time is considered. A theorem is given to determine the laws of the process evolution in terms of joint probability generating functions. Based on the above theory, a mathematical model of cell proliferation dynamics has been constructed. The control problem is introduced in connection with the optimal treatment protocols in leukemias. The time-continuous version of the process is discussed.
