Abstrakt

The paper presents improved and modified thermal networks created by the author for calculations of the temperature field in turbogenerator elements. Programs developed on a basis of these networks are the basic module of a computer aided design system used in TurboCare Poland S.A in Lubliniec for turbogenerator design. As an example, there is described use of the thermal networks for modernization of a TWW-320-2Y3 turbogenerator in order to improve its reliability and increase its rated power by 10%.
