Abstrakt

Alternative fuels play a key role among many directions of action taken in implementing climate change-related activities. The search for clean, low-carbon and renewable motor fuels is one of the main directions of research and development conducted worldwide. This study discusses issues regarding the use of selected gaseous fuels to power motor vehicles, i.e. hydrogen (H₂), hydrogen-methane mixtures (HCNG) and dimethyl ether (DME). Also presented are the results of research on the use of gas fuel mixtures that ensure the efficiency of energy conversion and contribute to reducing emissions.
