Abstrakt

Road network is a set of objects that are located in a geographical space. The analysis of a road network should be conducted having regard to the area where it exists. The area that is covered in an analysis is usually vast so it may be useful to split it into smaller units. Such delimitation however may have an effect on the assessment of chosen topological measures of road transport network, such as its density. The aim of the paper is to show how a delimitation of a given area may influence the assessment of road network structure that is located in analyzed area.
