Abstrakt

Polyaniline was synthesized in various acid solutions using a potential sweep method. Electroactivity of the polymer was studied in heteropolyacid solutions in which doping does not occur in the bulk of the polymer. Acids different from those applied in the polymerization process were added to the supporting electrolyte in order to determine their influence on the doping process mechanism. The nature of anions and the parameters of polymerization significantly affect electrochemical properties of polyaniline.
