Abstrakt

Simulation investigation is the least expensive and most useful way of control systems design and testing. Simulation experiments may be very helpful for control structure design and comparison as well as for choosing approximate settings of control algorithms. A distributed parameter counterflow heat exchanger with user-defined two-variable nonlinear control system is considered in the work for simulation. The main purpose of the paper is to show how to program the considered distributed parameter counterflow plant with controllers using any standard state differential equation oriented tool. As an example of realization the appropriate MATLAB files are also presented in the paper.
