Abstrakt

Modelling of the solid-liquid mixture separation including free suspension filtration and expression of filter cake and thick slurry is presented in the paper. Determination of the filtration parameters and model verification using simple experiments is proposed. The model predictions are verified experimentally using three different suspensions.
