Abstrakt

The paper presents new approach to the thermal network method proposed by the author for modeling the temperature field in electric machines and transformers with complex systems of cooling ducts. Thermal models of different types of mine motors, turbogenerators and transformers have been developed with use of this method. They have widely been used in practice. There are given the exemplary calculation results for a 85/250 kW two speed mine motor.
