Abstrakt

A procedure is presented for the selection of a mechanization system using a shearer-loader under specific mining geological and technical conditions. The cooperation between the shearer and the conveyor in coal loading and transportation is analyzed. Based on this analysis nomograms for conveyor selection are prepared. Face conveyors selected by means of the nomograms present a transport capacity that does not limit the speed rate of the shearer-loader.
