Abstrakt

Experimental power curves have been developed and discussed for a laboratory vessel mechanically agitated by a range of up-and-down moving (vibrating) mixers. The power number and the Reynolds number for such mixers have been defined. The proposed approach has provided some design information on the power characteristics of vibrating impellers.
