Parallel operation of overhead lines and high voltage cables carrying power from new generation sources

This article presents a continuation of the analysis concerning the operation of parallel cable and overhead lines. The analysis included overhead lines characterized by significant geometric asymmetry, including multi-voltage lines. The voltages and currents induced in the cable return conductors under the influence of currents flowing in the overhead line were determined for all circuits loaded and with individual circuits disconnected. The impact of the cable's location relative to the line on the determined parameters was assessed.
