OZNACZENIE PRZENIKALNOSCI PAR SUBSTANCJI ORGANICZNYCH PRZEZ FOLIE POLIMEROWE METODA WAGOWA.

In the reported experiments, a gravimetric method is described which has been applied to the determination of the organic vapor permeability. This method, when applied to water vapor, is very simple and is suitable for routine control of the production of films and film packages. Several measuring cells have been constructed differing in the method of film sealing. Several film-organic vapor systems have been investigated by two methods of permeability determination: by adsorption and by evaporation. It has been found that the proposed procedure may be used as the principle of a standardized method for the determination of permeability of organic vapors, similarly to the current standards concerned with water vapor.
