Abstrakt

This paper briefly presents the Italian company DIEMME Filtration, the range of various filter presses it manufactures and their application in the process of dewatering of fine fractions of mineral concentrates. Finally this paper includes a case study in which a GHT 1500 filter press installed at the coal preparation plant at JSW SA KWK Jas-Mos is used to dewater the effluent from screen-bowl decanter centrifuges containing the finest coal particles sized 25-0 μm.
