MULTICRITERIA DESIGN PROBLEM - FUZZY SET APPROACH.

The paper deals with a novel method of multicriteria ranking and rating of alternatives that result in any design process. It copes with different types of information available such as deterministic, probabilistic and fuzzy ones. Discussed is in length a problem of membership determination of fuzzy data. Moreover a special attention is devoted to problems of aggregation of partial evaluations of respective alternatives viewed with respect to different criteria provided. Studied is also a topic of an appropriate way of presentation of the results.
