Abstrakt
In the paper a possibility of accomplishing the time-optimal control with a PID controller is discussed at greater length. Some examples of continuous plants, which can be controlled in such a way, are presented. The equations making it possible to calculate the optimal values of parameters of a PID controller are derived. On the basis of results of simulation studies carried out, the sensitivity of control to changes of the plant parameters is analyzed.
