Abstrakt

The paper presents the influence of the historical research carried out on the object on the possible directions for giving its a new function. Simulation studies of the acoustic parameters of the interior have made it possible to determine the impact of restoring the original emporium on the acoustic parameters of the building – the speech intelligibility index STI and clarity index C₈₀. The influence of filling the interior with listeners within the currently existing structure as well as the one modified by the formerly existing music choir was indicated. The study confirmed the good acoustic quality of the interior of St.Apostels Peter and Paul's Church in Oborki.
