title = "Methods of therapy of scoliosis and technical functionalities of disc4spine (d4s) diagnostic and therapeutic system",
abstract = "Evidence is being found for the diversity of factors which can cause scoliosis. These factors range from a lifestyle to genes and intracellular phenomena taking place in human body. To treat idiopathic scoliosis, different equipment and kinesiotherapy exercises are used. If preventive methods prove ineffective, or sometimes parallel to them, orthopedic solutions are applied, such as innovative braces or less and less invasive surgeries and materials which grow with the patient and allow to avoid next surgical interventions in the future. In this paper D4S method is presented. It enables active therapy of scoliosis and postural disorders in three planes. It includes a diagnostic module for complex diagnosis of the body posture and scoliosis, using a wide range of parameters. It also allows to monitor the patient during the therapeutic session and the {\textquotedblleft}Database{\textquotedblright} module enables archiving and optimization of therapy procedure, which may improve its effectiveness.",
