Kształtowanie stalowego szkieletu budynku mieszkalnego zgodnie z normą amerykańską AISI S230-15 – część 2

The article attempts to answer the question about the possibility of applying the provisions of theAmericanAISI S230-15 standard in the process of initial shaping of a light steel skeleton of a residential building, designed in domestic conditions. The provisions of the indicated American standard were applied in order to select the cross-section of selected bars of the designed framework, including wall studs, joists, roof rafters and ceiling joists. Selected aspects of numerical analysis and the procedures of verification of the limit states of selected members of the designed skeleton were presented, based on the Eurocode guidelines. It was found that in the process of preliminary shaping of the skeleton of a residential building, designed in national conditions, the provisions of the AISI S230-15 standard can be used, treating them, however, as elements supporting the design process.
