Abstrakt
The article discusses selected elements of the process of shaping the light steel skeleton of a residential building, designed in domestic conditions, based on the provisions of the American AISI S230-15 standard. The principles of selecting the geometrical parameters of the skeleton and the rules of designing the building bracings with the use of wall cladding were discussed. The rules for determining selected environmental impacts were also compared, according to the AISI standard and the applicable national standards. The resource of information presented in this study will be used in the next, second part of the article in the process of selecting the cross-section of selected bars of the designed skeleton, according to the provisions of the American standard in question.As a result, an attempt will be made to answer the question about the possibility of applying the provisions of the AISI S230-15 standard in the process of initial shaping the skeleton of a residential building, designed in national conditions.
