Abstrakt
This article examines the impact of generative AI on business models elements within the logistics industry, identifying the most transformation-prone aspects and commonly used AI models. A survey of 50 logistics professionals, selected through recommendation, was conducted and analysed using heatmaps and statistical methods. Findings reveal that text generation in response to commands received the highest recognition, underscoring the importance of automating communication and data analysis for demand forecasting. Conversely, generating audio and video from text was deemed less significant, indicating limited current use. AI's greatest potential is seen in optimising transportation costs and fostering innovation. The study acknowledges that the limited, non-random sample may affect the representativeness and generalizability of the results. Nonetheless, the diverse knowledge levels and career stages of respondents add value to the findings. The research may inspire logistics companies to adopt generative AI and encourage further studies with broader participant groups and advanced data processing techniques.
