title = "GPU Video Stream Magnification as a Tool for Touchless Object Vibration Measurement",
abstract = "Video stream magnification allows people to see otherwise not visible subtle changes in surrounding world. In the article we present a method for GPU-based touchless object vibration measurement using IR video camera in order to process video stream in real time. We compare acquired results by the proposed method with the results from accelerometers. The conducted experiments confirmed that the results obtained using the Video Magnification technique are not only visual effects, but also allow measurement of object vibration. The results of the proposed touchless vibration measurement approach are similar to classic accelerometer-based solutions, which we consider to be apromising starting point for further research with goal of vibration measurements for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as additional source of information for control algorithms.",
