Abstrakt

The doping effects of Cu ions on the elastic properties of the LiNbO₃ crystal in the hypersonic range of frequencies were studied by Brillouin scattering. The concentration of Cu was 0.05 mol%. Comparison with pure samples showed a relative decrease in frequencies falling in the range of 4-11%. Measurements were performed in different crystallographic directions.
