Abstrakt
The concept of Corporate Social Performance (CSP), despite its 50-year presence in academic literature, still remains ambiguous and controversial as it is to a largely extent equated to “doing good” (Miron & Petrache, 2012), what may be summarized in Wood’s words, who claims that "(s)ocial issues, environmental pressures, stakeholder concerns are sure to affect corporate decision making and behavior far into the future” (Wood, 1991, p. 400). This author defines Corporate Social Performance as "(a) business organization’s configuration of principles of social responsibility, processes of social responsiveness, and policies, programs, and observable outcomes as they relate to the firm’s societal relationships” (Wood, 1991, p. 693).
