Abstrakt
pH process is very difficult to control. Many new control algorithms are developed and evaluated via simulation. Most of these controllers are designed using very complicated phenomenological models. This article presents GMC and PFC algorithms based on approximated model of pH process in comparison with standard PI algorithm as a benchmark controller. Obtained control laws are relatively simple and give good results. GMC regulator was most accurate and efficient in presented comparison. PFC needs some further model simplification but also gives acceptable results. The aim of this article was to evaluate performance of PFC and GMC algorithms based on approximated model as a possible approach to control in real-word installations.
