Abstrakt

The effect of chemical and thermal debinding on mechanical proper ties of FFF prints based on polyamide compounds filled with 316L steel granules were presented. Selected parameters related to the printing strategy were also analyzed. The compressive, tensile, and flexural strength of the samples were determined after the printing process and after chemical and thermal debinding. The direction in which the analyzed mechanical properties were determined (transverse or parallel to the growth plane), as well as the printing strategy itself (path direction), were important factors for the obtained mechanical characteristics. It was demonstrated that debinding has a significant impact on the analyzed mechanical parameters, but their value ensures the possibility of transport and handling without undesirable effects related to the disruption of their integrity. This is particularly important for postprocess operations related to the final sintering of the products.
