Abstrakt

The research on partial discharge in oil filled power transformer is presented in the paper. The measurements were proceeded with ultra wide band discharge analyzer. The analysis is based on chosen PD distributions and other quantities. Basing on the analysis there was an attempt to location of PD sources. The unconventional approach was verified by acoustic emission method which was also involved in measurements of partial discharge to locate PD sources.The reasearch was proceeded on the power transformer qualified to repair.
