Abstrakt

In this paper a study on a new application for the waste fly-ashes from power stations has been presented. They may be used as fillers for thermosetting molding mateials. The technology of injection molding has been elaborated for the new phenol-formaldehyde molding powders with this filler. The parameters of injection molding have been given as well as results of determinations of the mechanical and electrical properties of parts obtained. Properties of materials containing various amounts of fly-ashes from different power stations have been compared.
