Abstrakt

The walls of the castle in Będzin were erected using the "opus emplectum" technique. As a result of the influence of external atmospheric factors, especially rainwater and groundwater penetrating into the cracks of the wall through cracks and joints, there were many failures of the defensive walls and the walls of the castle itself. Non-destructive ultrasonic tests were carried out to find the presence of internal voids in the walls.
