title = "Application of dynamic hip screw system in treatment of intertrochanteric fracture",
abstract = "The paper presents the results of clinical trials using dynamic hip screw (DHS) for the treatment of fractures of the proximal femur and the results of numerical simulation of the model of femoral fixation using stabilizer DHS for the fixations most commonly occurring in clinical cases. The simulation results constituted the basis for the selection of mechanical properties and allowed to define the zones most vulnerable to mechanical failure of both the implant and bone tissue. Furthermore, designated zones of maximum stress enable the identification and assessment of corrosion processes in the areas of the damaged surface layer of the metal biomaterial.",
