Abstrakt

Methods have been developed for TLC and HPLC separation of phenol and its methyl and chloro derivatives on stationary phases with bonded amino, cyano, and diol groups, using the binary mobile phases chloroform-2-propanol, 50 + 1.5 (v/v), chloroform-2-propanol, 50 + 4 (v/v), and n-hexane-2-propanol, 50 + 0.5 (v/v). The TLC method was used as a pilot technique for HPLC.
