Abstrakt

Efficient and safe operation of the power system requires keeping a number of constraints arising from physical as well as economic reasons. The paper presents an approach for modeling and analysis of transmission constraints using the optimal power flow. It describes basic modelling of limits and presents the results for several variants of the analysis of transmission grid development of the National Power System.
