Abstrakt

The paper points out some technical aspects of drivers used to excite electromagneto- acoustic transducers for longitudinal and transverse waves which are incident normal to a metal surface. A driver with a pulsed high-voltage source, which is suitable for use in portable equipment, is also presented.
