Abstrakt

The results of investigations of the parameters of acoustic emission (AE) from conveyor belt samples during uniaxial tension are presented. The studies of AE pulses of non-destructive testing have been made with a view to their application for the prediction of sample strength. It was found that in the range of 20% of the nominal destructive load, the sum of events is a good parameter for the prognostication of sample strength.
