Abstract
The article presents the results of tests of a prototype of a switching power supply with high impedance between the input and output circuits. The system is characterized by relatively small mass and dimensions compared to systems containing batteries, accumulators or transformers and is characterized by relatively low value of generated electromagnetic disturbances and noise. DC resistance measured between the input circuit of the power supply, at a measuring voltage of 500 V is greater than 10 TΩ, and the capacitance between the input and output circuits is less than 13 pF and is about two orders of magnitude lower than the capacitance occurring between the input and output circuits of a commercial switching power supply intended for medical applications.
