Abstract
The article analyzes the impact of changing parameters (pressure and temperature) in a methanol reactor on the amount of methanol produced and the efficiency of the production installation. Renewable hydrogen is supplied to the installation, which was produced thanks to surplus energy from renewable energy sources. Carbon dioxide involved in the process comes from the CO2 capture and storage facility (Carbon Capture and Storage). The analysis covers cases for parameters in the temperature range t = 190 ÷ 210°C and pressures p = 5.5 ÷ 8 MPa.
