Abstract
Municipal landfill leachates were optionally pre-treated with CaO and then air-treated together with the municipal sewage in an activated sludge-filled lab. bioreactor (vol. 4 L, residence time 36 h). The introduction of the landfill leachate into sewage system resulted in a serious disturbance of correct functioning the bioreactor (an increase in COD and BOD).
