Abstract

The purpose of the presented work was to conduct a case study of a control station modelling taking into consideration Poka-Yoke and ergonomics rules in Tecnomatix Jack Human Simulation. At the beginning a subject of interest of the modelling process was chosen. In the presented case the piece being produced in the modelled workstation was a component of a bicycle gear; it is a gear hook. Next, the worker's characteristics were defined, and the picture of the 8 hour-long working shifts was taken. Basis on this, the model of the workstation which fulfils human factors and ergonomics requirements in Siemens NX system was modelled. Subsequently the ergonomics analysis was conducted both manually and with Tecnomatix Jack Human Simulation. The subjected analysis was carried out with OWAS and Lehman methods inter alia. Thanks to conducting the ergonomic analysis in the two ways it was possible to make a comparative analysis of the achieved results.
