Abstract

In this paper the problems of inverse methods in the thermal theory of foundry are presented. The possibilities of utilization of these methods in a range of boundary condition reconstruction on the outside surfaces of the cast-mold system, the optimization of the mold thickness, the problems of continuous casting technology and also the method of thermal determination of parameters are shown. The algorithms of computations relating to the practical problems are illustrated by examples.
