Abstract
In the paper solid fuel gasification issues and advantages of initiating of this technology are presented. The different gasification technology are shown in details. Some gasifiers has characterized. The syngas cleaning process are described. IGCC systems, which were built after 1994, has been described. The Puertollano Power Plant and its diagram are described in details. In the paper the economic calculations are done. The limit sale price of electricity was chosen as economic coefficient. This variable was calculate as a function of: work annual time, fuel price (coal) and total investment cost. Calculations show that properly long work time, permit to the economically use IGCC technology.
