Abstract

In this paper we propose a real-time fuzzy logic system composed as early failure diagnostic of the car driveline. The IoT infrastructure of the system was designed to prevent interference with the original car layouts. We propose a new model which defines a devoted trust mechanism supporting ad-hoc knowledge exchange between cooperating fuzzy systems run on each connected car. The paper presents electronic IoT infrastructure as well as theoretical and practical foundations for the developed fuzzy logic control module. The system has been tested and verified based on practical experiments.
