Abstract
The paper presents a review of electromagnetic devices for transportation and stirring of liquid metals with a special emphasis at devices built in Department of Electrotechnology of the Silesian University of Technology. Methods of calculations for such devices were discussed. Distribution of Lorentz forces in a channel of an electrodynamic feeder with liquid metal were calculated.
