Abstract

The paper presents the place of time efficiency in the productivity system on the example of a welding company. Time management is now an important concept Lean Manufacturing (LM) used in industrial companies. Elimination of wasted time is the primary goal of Lean Manufacturing. The rational economy of working time is primarily oriented towards broadly understood operational efficiency and quality requirements according to principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). The case study was used the welding process. The welding process is typical of the metallurgical industry. It has recently been invented steel welding with micro-jet cooling. In the paper the selected results of new technology investigation were presented.
