Abstract

The paper deals with modeling of electromechanical drive systems by using a mechatronic approach. The aim of the work was to develop an algorithm of optimization that can be applied for selecting dynamic features of drive systems in order to minimize vibration amplitudes and amplitudes efforces occurring in kinematic pairs of an electromechanical system with a control unit. The vector control unit ensured high dynamics of the system characterized by quick response of the system to changes of the motor load. The genetic algorithm was applied for optimization. The obtained results of numerical calculations confirmed the accuracy of the applied models and research methods for estimation of dynamic features of drive systems. The set of design variables selected in the optimization process contained parameters describing design features of gear shafts and settings of control units. Selected results of numerical investigations are presented in the paper.
