Abstract
The article contains essential technical and economic reservations regarding information disseminated in the media. Journalists and lay 'experts' inherently ignore the dynamic and static phenomena resulting from the imbalance in the development of zero-emission sources and their adverse effects on the power system and energy consumers. It also addresses the dilemma of correct development choices and the benefits that result from impartial, objective rationalization of investment decisions in technologies that are actually renewable and strategically available for the country's economy. Also presented are analyses of the lack of sustainable development of technical infrastructures in energy production using examples from Germany, Great Britain, and the United States.
