Abstract
Studies on the impact of magnetic and centrifugal forces in hermetic magnetic-liquid seals were presented. The results of numerical calculations on the decrease of the impact of the centrifugal force through the use of magnetic flux concentrators on a rotating shaftwere shown. It has been demonstrated that there is a greater possibility for the use of hermetic magnetic-liquid seals in axially symmetrical clearances in gas-steam separation for coke gases.
