Abstract

The rotary motion of motor vehicle wheels is usually achieved through the use of rolling bearings. During operation, a gradual degradation of the bearings, leading to the damage. Information on the degree of wear is included in the vibro-acoustic signals emitted by the bearing. However, in the initial stage it is impossible to organoleptic read by the user of vehicle. Technical condition of automobile wheels bearings during operation is not subject to the assessment standard vibration. In the border when there is a sharp increase in mechanical energy dissipation in the placenta, which leads to its destruction. Issue of vibroacoustic and thermal energy in this period is often already so large that it can be tested organoleptically. From the perspective of the forecast time of use limit it is useful to detect early stages of the damage to the bearings. Due to the limitation of time-consuming and cost minimization best environmental diagnosis creates the possibility of application of vibroacoustic methods. The article presents the results of research and analysis of a series of semi-annual summary of experiments conducted on real object. The results were analyzed to detect the early stages of the damage to the wheels rolling bearings using vibration methods. Proposed measure of vibration allowing for qualitative and quantitative assessment of changes in mechanical energy dissipation.
